Art and Essentials is a mother-daughter partnership who strives to share hope and inspiration from their own personal journeys.  Both women describe themselves as “born artists,” sharing a love for creating new and beautiful things that bring joy to themselves and others.

L.A. Dorsey is a visionary artist with an entrepreneurial spirit who has been a small business owner for over 25 years, specializing in artwork, murals, faux finishes and interior decorating.  During the year 2020, she experienced a profound shift in her artistic focus: to create more introspective work.  This shift inspired the beginnings of Art and Essentials, which offers prints of original quotes and artwork, along with miscellaneous essential products for the home.

Erin DuToit is a gifted, creative artist with (seemingly) endless curiosity and energy. Her artwork and photographs are combined with original quotes that are meant to bring joy and comfort. Erin loves to paint, quilt, photograph and make pottery. She currently lives in South Africa with her husband and two sons.
